If you have already began exploring this website, you are more than likely beginning to see that many of the diets out there will lead you on a dead-end path. Eating food that requires figuring out the percentages of fat, protein, and carbohydrates can never be sustainable, nor is weighing, measuring, and calculating calories or anything similar. Filling your body with supplements, protein powders, or an array of pills and potions is never a healthy approach to dieting. Living on frozen and refined meals that are heated in a microwave is eating denatured food that will always deprive you of your vibrant health potential.
The good news is that once you realize how not self-serving these approaches are, you finally begin to turn yourself in the right direction and onto the path you have been looking for.
Could It Be ANY More Confusing?
When it comes to nutrition and especially diets, it is easy to become confused very quickly. There are dozens of different dietary theories, some with extremely rigid principles and others that are less structured. Not only are there many different diet programs (e.g. Weight Watchers, South Beach Diet, The Zone, Paleo, Jenny Craig, and the Mediterranean Diet), but there are also different approaches to diet (vegetarian, vegan, raw food, dairy free, gluten free, macrobiotics, Ayurvedic, and others). There are literally thousands of books, websites, and gurus presenting their version of the "perfect diet."
Nutrition is a subject where you can have 10 dietary experts in the same room, all of who contradict each other. Each claim to have their own studies to prove why their theory is the right one and why all the others are wrong. The more you hear the more confused you get, and separating fact from fiction quickly becomes a scrambled mess. If experts can't agree, then where does that leave you?
Looking to the government doesn't help at all. The dietary recommendations of the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) and regulatory standards of the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) have failed us miserably and helped lay the foundation for the skyrocketing rates of sickness and chronic disease today. Toxic chemicals and denatured food that are legally permitted in our food chain have been banned in other countries because they are directly linked to cancer, heart disease, and other conditions; not so in the USA.
The top three killers of the western world are heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. They are entirely preventable and largely treatable through diet and lifestyle changes, yet instead of being prescribed healthy food choices we are over-medicated with a rainbow of pills. Most Americans eat the standard American diet, filled with chemicalized foods that are a fast-track to poor health.
We Already Know
Luckily, when we wade through the seemingly endless sea of information and shed away the marketing hype, we find that when it comes to health and longevity the answers are crystal clear. We just need a little guidance on separating fact from fiction. There are many independently published dietary intervention studies that clearly show that specific dietary choices can reverse degenerative disease, eliminate the need for medication, and restore the vital energy the body needs to achieve the highest levels of health.

By simply looking at the diet of traditional cultures, especially long-lived cultures where individuals often live in perfect health to more than 100 years, we can instantly see that their eating habits, environment, and social structure is very different from those of the average American. Not only that, but many of the diseases we see in the western world do not exist in other areas of the world that remain untainted by our food chain. With this in mind, we have a very clear starting point.

Common Reasons Why Diets Fail
Let's take a look at the most common assumptions that cause most diets to fail:
Frozen meals & diet foods are healthy, right?...
When we eat foods that are not biologically appropriate for our bodies, we are unable to receive the nutrition we need. Most of us are undernourished, meaning that regardless of the amount of food we eat we are still not receiving the nutrients we need. This causes our bodies to crave what is missing. This is the primary reason why we develop intense cravings, cannot maintain the diet, or suffer health conditions as a result of it.
Diet foods are typically dead foods. Looking at the ingredients of packaged and frozen diet meals, diet bars, and "food" products for some of the biggest diets on the market, they are pure junk. They are filled with the absolute worst kind of unpronounceable, synthetic, and lifeless ingredients that only serve to deaden and degrade the body. You will very quickly discover the difference in how your body responds to fresh and healthy foods as opposed to the processed, refined, and chemicalized foods that fill the supermarket shelves.
Many packaged and frozen foods contain ingredients that are extremely unhealthy. They can contain artificial ingredients, genetically modified products, pesticidal residue (unless they are organic), refined ingredients, factory-farmed meat, and pasteurized ingredients. Heavily processed and refined ingredients are very common, especially processed corn or soy derivatives, in nearly all these foods. What is most important is that these foods contain little to no fresh ingredients. Packaged foods and frozen meals are not fresh! The only thing these foods may be able to boast is being low-calorie.
Isn't it about low fat?...
No. It is about healthy fats. Eating foods high in healthy fats does not increase your rate of cancer, obesity, or heart disease. This is why you do not see these diseases in traditional cultures that consume very large amounts of healthy fat in their diet. Many long-term dietary studies have been conducted showing conclusively that lowering the amount of fat that is eaten will not take away disease. This is because it is not about quantity of fat, it is about the type and quality of the fat.
You need healthy fats in small quantities and from whole foods. It is that simple. Liquid fats in bottles (oils) are not whole foods. They are fractionated products that have become an unhealthy staple in the diets of many people. Contrary to some diet beliefs, fat is not the primary fuel source for the body. The body efficiently burns carbohydrates as its primary fuel source more than it does fats. It takes the body substantially more effort to use dense, heavy foods such as fats for fuel than it does to burn foods that are naturally "light" and high in water content.
Notice the significant difference in how you feel when you eat foods low in fat compared to foods high in fat. Not only do high fat meals cause your digestive system to become much more sluggish, but they can also make you feel like taking a nap is because the body uses up more energy in digesting high fat meals.
Don't I need to calculate SOMETHING?...
Yes, you can start counting the number of days you have gone without having to do food calculations. Most diets fail because of the restrictions and limitations they impose.
Militancy never works when it comes to changing the way you eat. It takes a lot of discipline to eat new types of foods, but when you also ask people to weigh their food, figure out percentages, calculate the calories, and deprive themselves of the foods they love, the end result is unrealistic. For most people, trying to sustain this type of diet quickly leads to failure and can also be very time consuming. You may follow it for a day or a week, or you may even be successful for a month. But when there is no end in sight, the inflexibility of it will eventually cause you to sabotage the diet. The resulting failure and shame of eating forbidden foods simply magnifies feelings of failure and inadequacy.
Surely I need no restrict carbs?...
Cutting carbs? Well one thing is for sure, you can say no to a healthy, vibrant body on a low-carb diet. That is an oxymoron in and of itself because the healthiest foods that vibrate at the highest frequencies are high-carb natural foods: sun ripened vegetables and fruits. You will never achieve the highest level of health and vitality, and a higher-vibrational state of being, on a diet that does not promote vegetables and fruits as a staple in your diet. They are naturally high in water content, quick and easy to digest, and energize the body like nothing else on earth.
The problem is that many foods are full of unhealthy carbs;
the type that should never be in the food chain to begin with.
Carbohydrates are the primary fuel that the body needs to function optimally, and are the only fuel used by the brain. This is how our bodies were biologically designed, and no matter what anybody or any diet tells you, without the right carbohydrates your health will not only suffer, but your energy levels will decline, and you will have intense cravings. Why? Because you are depriving your body of its primary fuel source. One of the biggest and most dangerous pitfalls in the diet world today is the belief that carbs are bad for us and we should avoid them.
Fat is not the primary fuel source for the body, nor is it an efficient one. Being fat is not a natural or healthy state for the body, and forcing it to burn up fat as its primary fuel source is not what it was biologically designed to do. The body is also not designed to use protein as its primary fuel source. When the body is forced to switch from using glucose (carbohydrates) for fuel to using protein instead, it enters a state of ketosis and produces by-products known as acetone and ketones in amounts that are unhealthy and approach toxicity. The denatured (cooked or processed) high-protein diets recommended today do nothing but serve to lay the foundation for all sorts of health issues, especially osteoporosis and other bone-related disorders. Diets high in fat create...well...fat.
Carb restricted diets will always lead the body to produce intense cravings for the missing carbs, leading to binging on the worst kinds of carbs. These include breads, cookies, candy, pasta, and other highly-refined and processed carbohydrates. These are the carbs that should be removed from your diet; not the healthy carbs from nature.
Diets high in nature's carbohydrates (fruits, vegetables, nuts, and legumes) create the lowest risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. This is because they are naturally nutrient dense and full of the vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that our body needs to sustain health. Low-carb diets will always be lacking in these vital nutrients, and are replaced with high amounts of protein, or fat, or both.
Why you should avoid low carb diets...
A healthy diet always contains supplements, right?...
If your diet tells you to take supplement pills or protein powders, then the diet is nutritionally deficient - ditch it! Be especially wary of any diet or nutrition website that tries to sell you their own supplements.
With just a couple of notable exceptions (see below), avoid supplements completely. Over 90% of them are synthetic and the body recognizes the difference between natural and synthetic lab-created supplements. Some of the most common synthetic supplements such as folic acid and Vitamin A have been conclusively linked to health problems, yet remain in circulation. Most are imported from China where quality control standards are much lower than they are in the USA, and fewer than 2% all food and supplements imported undergo inspection by the USDA. On a healthy diet filled with nutrient-dense foods, you have no need for supplements, despite what manufacturers, nutritionists, or dietitians tell you.
The ONLY time you should ever need to take supplements is:
- Temporarily, while you are recovering from a health condition. Once balance has been restored, stop taking the supplements. They can be an important part of the recovery process and are preferred over toxic pharmaceutical drugs, but should always be derived from whole-food sources and never be synthetic.
- If you have a deficiency that has been verified or diagnosed (by a blood test or similar diagnostic method). Common deficiencies include Vitamin D and Vitamin B12.
Who cares about what kind of diet it is. I'm losing weight!...
This is one of the worst myths you can buy into. Losing weight at the expense of your long-term health is a fast-track to many chronic and autoimmune conditions.
The type and quality of the food that you eat is what determines weight loss and directly impacts your health. Many diet bars, diet pre-packaged foods, diet frozen foods, and supplements may contain less calories, but contain everything except healthy ingredients. Their ingredient are dead foods and chemicals (some of which are banned in other countries), pesticide residue, hormones, antibiotics, and all sorts of other undesirables that not only create a continual state of inflammation in the body, but also put your liver and kidneys into a perpetual reactionary mode.
Low calorie, processed diet foods are toxic.
They damage our organs and tissues over time,
contributing to chronic & autoimmune conditions.
I'm destined to be overweight because of my genes, right?...
Definitely not! Contrary to popular belief, diseases do not automatically run in families. The truth is that genetics accounts for less than 5% of health issues. Clear evidence indisputably shows that we are a product of our environment, not our genes. Genes play a very small role in our lives, and our environment plays a massive role when it comes to our health. The reason we often develop the same diseases and conditions as our parents is not because of our genes, but because of how we are raised, the foods we eat, the emotional environment we are raised in, and the belief systems we adopt.
The genetic expression of your genes (the ones which switch on and the ones which lay dormant) is DETERMINED BY YOUR EATING AND LIFESTYLE HABITS. This puts you in an incredible position of personal power and responsibility to control what happens to your body.
Diet and stress are the single biggest contributing factors to our state of health or disease. They form the foundation for many diseases, including obesity, diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. Certain types of cancer are directly related to dietary choices. Heavy red meat eaters have 3 times the risk of colon cancer than those who are not, and pasteurized milk drinkers have higher rates of prostate cancer, osteoporosis, and other health issues. By changing diets we can significantly affect our health because food changes the body's chemistry.
It takes 21-30 days for new habits to settle in and for addictions and destructive habits to lose their power. This is how long it takes for the body's sensitivity to be reset and begin noticing the difference in the mind and body as a result of new food choices. Can you lose 10 lbs in 10 days? Yes, and it's pretty much all water weight that our bodies have been holding onto that will come right back.
The expansion and contraction of our cells with the repeated gain and loss of excess water weight serves to damages the fibrous mesh beneath the skin and is the biggest contributing factor to cellulite. It also contributes to stretch marks from the stretching of our skin.
Quick fix diets are a
short-term fix with long-term consequences
Diet is only one piece of a much bigger puzzle...
Most diets ignore critical lifestyle factors that have a direct impact on our relationship with food. Traumatic relationships, stressful work conditions, and other events throw us off-balance and cause us to turn to the wrong types of food for comfort. We do not fail on the diet because we are too weak or undisciplined. We fail because the diet just addresses food and ignores the importance of addressing how other lifestyle factors can directly impact our relationship with food.
From a vibrational standpoint, diets completely fail to address the fact that the quality and type of food we eat directly affects the energy frequency of our body. The lower this frequency, the more susceptible we are to disease. There is an intelligence behind the blueprint that continually rebuilds every cell and tissue in our body from the moment we are born until the moment we pass from this earth. This intelligence is pure energy, and we unconsciously tap into it as we continually recreate both our body and our life's experiences. If the source material we supply our bodies with is unhealthy, low vibrational foods and lifestyle habits, then we can expect premature aging, disease, depression, and general stress as the consequences.
Now is the time to wake up and move into the driver's seat. It is time to take conscious control of the most powerful ability we have: the power of our mind to heal our body and manifest the life of our dreams.
Why the Old Diet Paradigm Doesn't Work Any More
The current approach to dieting and weight loss is very misguided. It is a tunnel vision approach of treating a symptom (a body out of balance) with ingredients that are anything but healthy. Some of the biggest diets out there encourage people to live on frozen meals filled with unhealthy ingredients such as factory-farmed meat, GMOs, irradiated foods, and food additives and chemicals. Others recommend levels of protein so high, that they set the stage for chronic health conditions in the future. The low carb diet craze has people so confused by what to eat that they unknowingly cut out the very foods that form the foundation for health and vitality - namely fruits and vegetables.
More and more of these diets pop up, each promising weight loss and health. But almost every one of them miss the mark when it comes to understanding the root cause of the problem, which is:
Food & lifestyle habits that lower our vibrational frequency
make us receptive to disease, obesity, and depression.
A diet that does not address how the energy of food, stress, and lifestyle habits impacts the body and the mind is a diet that will always fall short and leave you depleted and deficient. Healing your body and taking yourself to the next level requires a fundamental shift in perception and an understanding that ALL disease, ALL states of depression, and ALL imbalances of the body are directly related to the vibrational frequencies we surround ourselves with and feed our body with.
How About Going Paleo or Primal?
We are in a new era. Our goal is to learn from our ancestors, but not go back in time and follow their exact diet. As our species evolves, we begin to realize that our bodies are changing and evolving so that we not only create a body that is inhospitable to disease, but that can also access levels of consciousness we previously wrote off as sci-fi. With this understanding, we also begin to see that the food we put into our bodies and our antiquated beliefs on the nature of reality take on an entirely new meaning.
Going paleo or primal (2 popular diets currently popular) may certainly help improve your health and well-being because most of the food choices are healthy ones, but they cannot take us to the next level. What is today's magic will always become tomorrow's science. It's a matter of whether you want to stop at simply improving your health, or join the growing body of people that are blazing the trail into higher vibrational states.

If you are looking for the answer on which one diet is better than another, or a list of the benefits and drawbacks of the many diets available on the market, you won't find it here. If you are looking to be told what to eat and what to avoid without understanding the reasons why some foods will degrade your body and others will heal it, then you are also in the wrong place.
